Welcome to Bret Taylor's personal homepage. I am a computer guy in Silicon Valley, California. I recently started my own company, FriendFeed, with my friends Jim Norris, Paul Buchheit, and Sanjeev Singh.
I am proudly voting for Barack Obama in the upcoming election.
Before starting my company, I was a Group Product Manager at Google, responsible for Google's developer products. Before that, I launched Google Maps and Google Local, and before that I worked on Google's crawling and indexing infrastructure.
I live with my wife Karen in Los Gatos, CA, and I spend my spare time futily learning how to cook, listening to indie rock, playing guitar, programming hobby projects, and hanging out with our friends. And I still make it to almost every Stanford football game despite their performance this year...
